Map

The map

A check-in carries no position. A station is on the map when this site heard a position beacon from it around the time it checked in.

That is its last beacon in the 48 hours before the check-in, or its first within the hour after. A station that sends no position is on the roster and not on the map.

A station that sends a rough position is drawn as a soft circle, no more exactly than it sent.

19 of 20 sent a position.

US states 6 of 50

US states

A station is in the state its radio was in when it checked in, whatever its callsign. A station with no position is in no state.

A station within 250 metres of a state line, or of another country, is listed under neither. So is one that sends its position rounded, unless all of that area is in one state.

A station on the water is in the state whose shore is within 4 km, and further out in none.
