How to check in

What counts

  • Each operator is counted once a session, for a message to ANSRVR that starts CQ AARN.
  • The session of Saturday 31 October is open from 00:00 Eastern Time (04:00 UTC) to 00:00 Eastern Time on Sunday 1 November (04:00 UTC).
  • A check-in outside those hours is kept for net control to add.
  • Net control can add others by hand.

On the map

A check-in carries no position. A station is put on the map by its own position beacon.

That is the last one heard in the 48 hours before it checked in, or the first in the hour after.

A station with no beacon heard here is in the list and not on the map.

About this net

AARN is a no-dues international radio club. We strive to make radio accessible to everyone, especially those who have felt unwelcome or sees the hobby as an old white man thing. We are newbie\Baofeng-friendly and run a net Wed nights at 9pm Eastern on Allstar, Echolink, DMR, and YSF.

Run by KC1MUR.
